Does it ever feel like the water’s too deep, and instead of swimming, you’re starting to drown? Or maybe it feels like you’re already drowning. Life throws some pretty challenging things our way, and if we’re not grounded in our faith, it can be easy to be swept away.
But instead of the storm being what pins us down, what if it becomes what builds us up? What if there’s good that can come from the storms of life?
The truth is, sometimes the best growth comes from the heartache.
Learn to trust God in the middle of the war, and He can make you all the stronger for it. Believe me, it’s true. God can change even the worst of scenarios for His own glory and our betterment.
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
Genesis 50:20 NIV
Diamonds are only created in extremely adverse conditions. Are you willing to persevere through the storm and unrest to let yourself be refined by the one who made you with unbelievable love and power?
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
We live in a chaotic world. When there is no peace, and we endure trials and hardships, we must remember that God not only can control the storm, but He’ll use it to make us stronger. We just have to let Him.
